Russia and India will decide shortly which surface ships and submarines
the Indian Navy may need as part of the bilateral military-technical
cooperation, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Saturday,
November 16.
“The commission on military-technical cooperation will meet on Monday. Defence Minister
Rogozin said that India had already stated its interest in further cooperation. Russia India military cooperation reached new highs after the delivery of the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya.
"This group will have to decide what kind of ships will be needed by the [Indian] Navy, both surface and underwater ones,” Rogozin said.
