The Indian Navy (IN) will begin equipping its frontline warships with the Israeli Barak-8 air-defence missile system by the end of 2015, official sources said. This move follows the successful test firing of the missile in Israel in November 2014. BALASORE: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Monday greeted new Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar with the successful test firing of new generation state-of-the-art long range surface-to-air missile (LRSAM) Barak-8.
